PacTec’s UN Certified IP-1 LiftPac® is the only self-standing zipper-top hazardous waste bag on the market, ideal for the disposal of contaminated asbestos. Our UN-certified packaging group II (Y) bag is multi-layer and provides a robust containment package for hazardous wastes. The LiftPac® walls are constructed of rigid corrugated fiberboard allowing the bag to be self-standing, while the integrated sift-proof liner provides ultimate leak protection. One unit can hold greater volumes than (4) 210-L drums at a significant savings in cost and storage space compared to the alternative. They are lightweight, easy to assemble, versatile, and can easily be lifted by forklift with attached loops.

It is supplied with integral card inserts that also provides the function of ‘stand-alone’ to aid load and also multiple stacking.

This UN bag has also been approved for radioactive wastes as Type IP-1 by a UK nuclear waste authority as a testament to the quality and design and is being utilized for the safe packaging of radioactive contaminated asbestos wastes.
